Position Summary

This position serves as the primary service contact for health plan renewals and is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service, as well as represent internal needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.  

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages a book of business comprised of clients that are located both locally and nationally that are mostly fully insured, but may include some self-insured clients.
  • Collaborates with internal partners involved in providing services to identify and resolve issues and ensure that these services meet client expectations.
  • Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company’s benefits package.
  • Create and conduct presentations using audiovisual tools including PowerPoint and videos.
  • Conducts employee benefits enrollment meetings.
  • Monitors usage and experience of existing accounts and makes recommendations regarding existing plan(s).
  • Creates client proposals as necessary with current and renewal details as well as marketplace and master policy options.
  • Interacts with insurance carriers and clients to assist in resolving claim disputes and answering questions regarding billing and products.
  • Responsible for obtaining client census and quotes, preparing and submitting bid specifications, and evaluating the results in preparing recommendations for clients.
  • Plan and schedule your work by use of Salesforce project management tools.
  • Ensure work product is timely and accurate.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations such as ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.
  • Requires occasional travel, sometimes overnight.
