ColdTech Refrigeration is a prominent Intermountain West commercial refrigeration and HVAC service provider. We install, service and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and hot equipment assets for grocery stores, hotels, convenience stores, restaurants, school districts and warehouses. As an HVAC Construction Field Supervisor, you will collaborate closely and routinely with, General Managers and Operations Managers to ensure our delivery of quality mechanical work and exceptional customer service. field supervisors communicate directly with contractors and suppliers to provide timeline and accurate information on job or project status and needs. Our field supervisor is the front line of our company.
Supervise ColdTech field installation crews and Cold Tech subcontractors
Confirm all field crew members and subcontractors understand their work assignments and site-specific safety protocols
Monitor the progress of field crew members and subcontractors and adjust, as needed, to ensure that production stays on track with the construction schedule
Communicate project status to Project Manager and/or construction manager
Understand and communicate to Project Manager and/or construction manager the materials and labor required at least 3 days out to prevent production delays
Read and understand plans, specifications, submittals, and building codes
Ensure field crew is working with the most current plans, specifications, and submittals
Accountable to ensure work meets industry standards
Complete required daily reports for jobsite safety and project status
Review accuracy of weekly timecards prior to payroll process approval
Represent ColdTech at jobsite coordination meetings
Maintain positive relationships with general contractors, inspectors, subcontractors, and vendors
Create and maintain a safe working environment
Successful completion of an HVACR apprentice program (no program outside of the un
Capable of demonstrating understanding of advanced HVACR principles
Highly reliable and self-motivated
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and work plans
This position is responsible for supervising a team of HVAC installers
This job operates in construction environments
Field Supervisors must be capable of lifting heavy equipment over 50 lbs, operate and climb ladders, and work on their feet the majority of a workday.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education, Experience and Credentials
5-10 year of HVAC COMMERCIAL INSTALLATION
5-10 years of HVACR field management experience
Current OSHA 30 and
Work Authorization Security Clearance
Employee must have a valid Driver’s License, SS Card or Passport, and be eligible to work in the United States
