Overview

Reporting to the Director of Business Services. The Mergers & Acquisitions Project Manager will assist in planning & executing projects that expand the W.B. Mason footprint. Cross disciplinary projects require excellent communication skills and comfort working in a fast paced, ever evolving environment. The Business Services Team is responsible for the successful transition of customers, systems, and employees from the acquired business to WB. This is accomplished through both systems & data translation and implementation, as well as communication with new employees, along with all aspects of the acquired business.



Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison to the Director of Business Services in all Merger and Acquisition related activities
  • Communicate to internal and external stakeholders on progress, issues, and impediments to on-boarding projects
  • Understand project specific transaction KPI’s and other project management processes to accomplish objectives set by the team
  • Identify and analyze mergers to provide reporting on potential corporate risk
  • Act as a project manager for specific M&A’s while providing consistent updates to the Director
  • Provide status updates to Senior Management with respect to changes in scope or cost of the project
  • Analytically approach project management to provide accurate status reports to assist in any strategic decisions
  • Understand the business at a high-level to assist in decision making similar, but not limited to, who to involve with projects and how all M&A activities affect business productivity
  • Assist in education of project management best practices throughout the organization

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field
  • 3+ years of relevant project management experience
  • Relevant Mergers and Acquisitions experience
