Nexus treatment programs have been creating brighter futures for nearly four decades.Our evidence-based practices include:Therapy - Individual, Family, and GroupEMDR (Eye Movement De-Sensitization Reprocessing) TF-CBT (Trauma Focused - Cognitive Based Therapy)Vocational Skill DevelopmentExperiential Therapy - Sensory, Movement, Sand, Animal Interactions, and PlayPosition Summary:Provide assessments and treatment services to individuals, families and groupFacilitate partnership strategies with the communityParticipate in the initial interview of resident pursuant to family history and provide a written assessmentProvide family and individual therapy services to residents and their familiesAssess readiness for discharge in conjunction with other team membersEnsure compliance with governing agency and Nexus reporting requirementsEducate staff about family treatment integration theory and techniques and its application to residentsComplete Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) functional assessmentThrough the collaborative effort with family, youth and providers, develop and monitor the individual treatment plansProvide individualized, youth-focused, strength and evidenced-based family and individual therapy models to youth and families.
