We are seeking a Lead Shift Supervisor, CMA (DHH Certified Medication Attendant) to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.Responsibilities:Handle all administrative duties in a timely mannerPerform routine clinical tasks to support medical staffProvide daily living skills assistance to people with disabilitiesSupervise homes and employees in the department.Qualifications:Valid Louisiana Driver's License for 3 year periodMust possess typing skills/computer knowledgeMust maintain confidentiality at all timesMust greet visitors, employees, and client with professional courtesy at all timesCMA Requirements:Administers medications to community home clients in accordance with state CMA rules and regulationsRecords client vital signs on MAR as ordered by the physician.Ensures other medical information (such as blood sugar reading, etc.) are recorded as orderedCompletes all necessary re-certification training in order to retain CMA CertificateReports any medication errors, side effects of medications, or medication refusals to the LCC nurse immediatelyCompletes all medication passes as scheduled or requested
