Document on your phone!Additional training to grow in knowledge, expertise, and responsibility- You may be chosen to participate in Nurse-led training to assist in nurse-delegated procedures (dependent on client demand)As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with a current, valid state license, you will provide services in accordance with an established plan of care, including but not limited to:Assisting with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their homePerforming housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroomPreparing meals and snacks according to instructions and specialized dietsAccompanying clients on errands or medical appointmentsPersonal Care: Bathing, Showering, Dressing, Shaving, Assistance with DressingMedication remindersAssisting with prescribed range of motion exercisesDementia careCompanionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.Observe and Report changes in the client's condition or intake conditionChecking vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygenAssisting with change of ostomy appliancesReinforcement of dressings (non-sterile)Measuring intake and outputQualifications and SkillsHigh School Graduate or G.E.D Certificate PreferredCurrent and valid CNA license, Home Health Aide Certification, or STNAMust be able to pass a background, fingerprint, and drug screeningAbility to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for jobMust be able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistanceHave a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation, and current automobile insuranceCurrent and valid CPR and First AidWe truly believe that where you work matters.
