NWI Nashville LLC, a tier I supplier of aerostructure components of commercial and business jet aircraft is seeking an Assembly Inspector.

The Assembly Inspector will be responsible for the inspection of assemblies and subassemblies including system installations such as hydraulics, plumbing, etc., cleaning, sealing and other installations therein. The Assembly Inspector will also be responsible for the inspection of paint, peening, machining, processing, etc., of parts/assemblies in assembly areas.

Job Responsibilities
Determines sequences of assembly and functional testing inspection on completed subassemblies, assemblies, integral tanks and major aerospace structures, working from directives, blueprints, specifications, 3D models and other standards.
Inspects layout made from blueprints, sketches and 3D models that establish exact locations and dimensions using precision measuring equipment as required.
Inspects mating, fittings and installations that have been made from the above layouts for acceptable workmanship, proper functioning and completeness.
Inspects fastener installations, part locations, riveting, detail parts, etc., including processing operations performed in assembly areas.
Navigate computer systems to charge labor, access work instructions, record completion of work, TC1, MES, PII's, etc.

Job Qualifications
High School Diploma
Two (2) years aircraft assembler experience and demonstrated ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
Effective computer skills to include MS Office (Word, Outlook & Excel specifically) with ability to learn other applicable programs.
Ability to write WT's and to learn Catia
