Description

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:
-One (1) year RN experience in the OR with recent scrub and circulating functions required.
-Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices).
 
Position Incentives:
-Full time benefits working part-time hours 
-Saturday/ Sunday 7:00am- 7:45pm
-$8,000 Sign-On Bonus for 1+ years OR RN experience- $4,000 paid out after 90 days employment and the other $4,000 paid out after 365 days of employment. To qualify, your OR RN experience has to be in the last 2 years.

Education Requirements:
Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required.
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing highly preferred.
 
 
License Requirements:
Registered nurse with current license to practice in the state of Ohio.
CPR certified in 90 days. 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Former experience in ENT, Liver, Cardiac and/or Neurology surgical services highly preferred.
 
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
