Overview:
Cardiac Neuro is our neurological specialized unit of the hospital. Our nurses are specially trained for the care of the neurological population. This includes strokes, brain injury, seizures, acute mental status decline, post-op day 2 craniotomy care, spinal injury and spinal surgical care, etc. RN's are trained to care for our cardiac population as well.
Qualifications:
- Required Education: Graduate from an accredited RN program
- Preferred Education: BSN
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support or complete upon hire.
NIH within 60 days of hire and then annually. ASLS education must be performed within 6 months of hire and a minimum of every two years. - License: Current AR Registered Nurse license
