Overview:The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.
The Registered Nurse-GIG will float between the designated Mercy Hospital facilities in the below departments:
Critical Care, Tele, Med/surg, Women Health, L&D, Behavioral Health, ER
Facilities in the St Louis Region include:
- Mercy- St Louis
- Mercy Jefferson- Festus
- Mercy South- South St Louis County
- Mercy Washington- Washington, MO
- Mercy Lincoln- Troy, MO
Departments that utilize GIG RNs- Critical Care
- Tele
- Med/surg
- Women's Health
- Labor and Delivery/Mother-Baby
- Behavioral Health
- Emergency Department
Qualifications:- Licensure: Current Multistate Registered Nurse License.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years' RN hospital bedside experience specialty specific, must be within the last year.
- Certifications: BLS certified. One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
- Preferred Education: BSN
- Preferred Experience: 2 years RN experience.
