Overview:

Perform ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to supply prescribed sonography examinations for radiographic diagnoses. Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of a school of sonography and completed required clinical hours.
  • Licensure: Applicable licensure in state of practice.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience. Meets all requirements for Level I and Level II.
  • Certifications: 3 applicable registries - working in the area OR 5 years relevant experience and 2 applicable registries. RVT registry is required within 6 months of hire for coworkers who will be performing vascular procedures or who are working in the Vascular Lab only.
  • Preferred Experience: CT Experience a plus.
  • Preferred Certifications: ARRT (R)Preferred Other
