Phlebotomist, Part Time Days 6a - 230p - Military veterans preferred

Shift Info: 6a - 230p. It is 24 hours a week. It is 3/8hr shifts. It has rotating days every week.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs venipunctures, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduate or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Entry Level

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred
Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred.
Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred.
Experience working in a hospital preferred.
