Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures using Ultrasound for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce the ultrasound and sends quality studies/images and tech impression to PACS timely. Follows policy on transporting and high level disinfection of scopes, probes and transport case. Assists in the daily operation of the Cardiac Ultrasound Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees. Reports to the cardiac services manager and/or director. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI
