Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for the performance of diagnostic ultrasound exams, diagnostic cardiology procedures, peripheral vascular studies (imaging included). The Cardiovascular Sonographer is a highly skilled individual qualified by academic and clinical experience to produce and evaluate ultrasound images.

What qualifications you will need:

• Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Program and / or minimum of 2 years experience in the field of Echocardiography
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer, or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• Basic echocardiography knowledge, cardiac anatomy/physiology
