Responsibilities
Delivers radiation therapy treatments.
Performs manual calculations.
Fabricates custom shielding blocks.
Able to perform Q.A. checks adn warm-up Linear Accelerators.
Maintains constant communicationwith patients and family members to lend support and provide information concerning treatment.
Ensures that all efforts are directed in constantly improving customer (e.g. patient and physician) satisfaction.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an approved school of radiation therapy technology or a school of radiologic technology and one year radiation therapy program.
Must be registered by the American REgistry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy and licensed by the State of Texas.
