Description
We are seeking an audiologist to join our CHRISTUS St. Vincent Ear, Nose & Throat Specialists. Our highly skilled audiologists are dedicated to providing exception[1]al, comprehensive and compassionate hearing care to all patients of Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico.
Services Provided:
EDUCATION: Master of Science degree in Audiology
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: NM Audiologist license, Board Certification from American Academy of Audiology
SKILLS: Ability to listen and communicate orally with patients, co-workers, physicians and vendors and create written materials. Ability to function in calm and professional manner at all times, even under duress with multiple interruptions. Maintain continuing education requirements and professional liability insurance. Basic computer and office equipment skills (copier, calculator, fax, printer, multi-line phone, scanner). Desire and ability to be to work on time as scheduled.
EXPERIENCE: Five years of experience in a medical group setting.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
-Responsible to: Clinic Manager
ENVIRONMENT:
-Bloodborne pathogen: Frequent exposure to blood and body fluids. Appropriate protective equipment provided. Ability to use hand with manual, fine finger dexterity when working with office equipment. Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift light to moderate weight (up to 30 lbs.) with occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, stretching, pulling and pushing.
