Shift Details: OR Radiologic Technologist full time at a LvL 1 Trauma Hospital. Rotating weekends and On-Call, and occasional holidays.

Position Summary:

The OR Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures. The OR Rad Tech operates specialized imaging equipment such as O-Arm, c-arms and mini c-arms and performs double c-arm cases.  The OR Radiologic Technologist has knowledge of imaging equipment connectivity with intraoperative navigation and robotic devices and troubleshoots device connection with imaging equipment. Collaborates with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases.  Performs imaging for ERCP/GI exams and cardiac ICU catheter placements as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
  • State of Connecticut Radiographer license & ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • Minimum of 2 years of completed experience as a Radiologic Technologist, 3 years preferred. 
  • Successful completion of specialized training in OR and Fluoroscopic procedures preferred.
