A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Manager is a key member of the senior leadership team. The manager utilizes the strengths of the maintenance team, maximize the available uptime and production capabilities of all equipment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Check for new work orders, review old work orders, prioritize work and assign tasks to the maintenance team.
  • Communicate plans with affected lead persons or production managers.
  • Update maintenance software for current status.
  • Check on team members; progress; advise and recommend; help with repairs and troubleshooting; call OEM techs if necessary.
  • Train team members on repairs and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Weekly duties include, reviewing preventive maintenance program and ensuring the PM schedule is maintained, and maintaining a spare parts inventory.
  • As needed, order supplies for new equipment installs and equipment moves, read new machine manuals and setup the machine in CMMS and ERP software, and obtain quotes and hire contractors for various projects.
  • May advise on machine purchases, manage building or renovation projects, design electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems, or edit computer parameters for PCDNC communication.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed by the General Manager.
  • Lead and develop team members following the One Orchid global talent management approach to select, manage, and develop our best team. Ensure the growth of our positive business culture through behaviors that align with our core values and leadership competencies.
  • Ensure team members have the required knowledge and skills prior to performing job duties independently, including conducting, documenting and evaluating training effectiveness.
  • Support quality and compliance by adhering to all Quality Management Systems (QMS) documentation requirements and establishing/supporting plan(s) to meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Quality that support Safety, Compliance, Six Sigma Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and financial objectives.


EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor (Preferred)
  • High School Or Equivalent (Required)


EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience Implementing Capital Equipment Projects, PLC 5, and Control Logic (Preferred)
  • Experience Managing Others (Preferred)
  • 4+ Years of Manufacturing Experience (Required)
  • Experience in IT Hardware installation (Required)
  • 5+ Years of experience in production equipment maintenance (Required)


LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Journeyman License Skilled Trade (Preferred)
  • Master License Skilled Trade (Preferred)
