Our client, a leading value-added distributor in North America providing expertise, solutions and products from infrastructure, plumbing and appliances to HVAC, fire, fabrication and more in King of Prussia, PA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous shipping/receiving/warehouse experience, be consistent, punctual, reliable, willing to learn and bring a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Pay Range: $19/Hr
Shift: Sunday: 9:00AM-5:00PM & Monday-Thursday: 5:00PM-1:00AM
What's the Job?
- Please note that this is a warehousing position with 50/50 between equipment operation and being in/on a forklift or machinery to access inventory and the other remaining half being tasks completed on foot.
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
- Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
- Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move stock or organize materials
What's Needed? - Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience
- Basic computer literacy: Excel, Word •Good reading, writing and communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Sit-down forklift operator experience PREFERRED
