We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate with strong attention to detail and communication skills. This position is conveniently located in Hoffman Estates, IL.
Responsibilities:
Fulfill requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and distribute to internal departments or designated storage areas
* Sort and put away inventory on into appropriate racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
* Verify inventory in system through cycles counts and investigate discrepancies and adjust any errors
* Mark inventory with identifying information and update system with number and type of items received or distributed
* Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
* Assist with shipping and receiving as needed including unloading of trucks, checking in inventory and packing outgoing shipments
Requirements Requirements & Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED required
* Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
* Forklift experience required
* 3 months or more related experience and/or training
* Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
* Basic math, reading comprehension and writing skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
