**Description**
* Prepares and expedites shipments
* Determines method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements
* Compares identifying information on outgoing shipments to verify product and counts match outbound shipment documentation.
* Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment
* Follow labeling requirements for each customer
* Proper operation of material handling equipment to safety and production requirements
* Drive a company vehicle
* Perform other related duties as assigned
**Role qualifications**:
* High School Graduate or GED equivalent
* Operation of Forklift and Cherry Picker
* Ability to read and interpret documents
* Provide quality control for all outbound orders for accuracy.
* Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol test
* Previous warehouse experience preferred.
* Clean and active driving record- current valid Drivers License
* Time management to complete all regularly scheduled tasks on a timely basis.
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.
**Essential skills and experience:**
* Organized and time management skills
* With minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems.
* Ability to interpret packing slip.
* Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers
* Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
