**Warehouse Associate**

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of functions critical to warehouse operations including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

**Primary Duties:**

Shipping processing:

* Perform all necessary activities in order to process hazardous and non-hazardous chemical shipments. Typical duties include:

* Pull ordered product by the correct size from warehouse shelve(s) using mobile devices.

* Sort picked products to prepare for packing.

* Ensure all relevant shipping documents and safety information has been printed.

* Package products using appropriate packaging and labeling required for shipment.

Receiving processing:

* Verify deliveries against purchase orders and visually inspect delivered shipments for damage.

* Receive items coming into the company, verifying receipt of shipments against purchase orders.

* Deconsolidate and sort items for put away process

* Label received items with appropriate labels and prepare for stocking.

Inventory control and cycle counts

* Monitor completion of cycle counts and report to Logistics Manager.

* Use mobile device to perform physical cycle counts.

* Log inventory discrepancies.

* Perform recounts of products as necessary based on company rules.

Other duties:

* Re-stocking warehouse, shipping, and office supplies.

* Clean-up of warehouse & storage room areas.

* Other duties as may be assigned.

***Education:***

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Qualifications and/or Skills:**

* Must have hazmat Employee Training Certification (as required in 49 CFR 172.704) and Forklift Operator certification.

***Supervisory Responsibilities:***

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
