**About the Opportunity**

Our Team is hiring and we're looking for a self-starter to join us! The Warehouse Associate has impeccable work ethic and understands that their job has an impact on the core operation of the business. The ideal candidate is able to work in a fast paced environment and works well with others. They do not wait to be asked to do something, but rather, take the initiative to do something that they see needs done. They are a mover and always asks "what's next" or "how can I help". This Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for verifying addresses, packaging, shipping, and maintaining their work station. Once trained, you'll have the opportunity to cross train with the rest of the team! If this sounds like you, we want to talk! This is a full time opportunity working M-F 8a-5p.

**Responsibilities:**

* Move stock or other materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks and delivery vehicles by hand trucks, tractors, or other equipment.

* Support all shipping / receiving needs.

* Sort cargo before loading and unloading.

* Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.

* Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.

* Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.

* Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.

* Carry needed tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return them after use.

**Detailed Work Activities:**

* Clean facilities or work areas.

* Schedule pickup / shipment with various carriers.

* Load shipments, belongings, or materials.

* Mark materials or objects for identification.

* Monitor cargo area conditions.

* Move materials, equipment, or supplies.

* Operate packing or other material processing equipment.

* Package materials or products.

* Receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.

* Sort materials or objects for processing or transport.

**Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* Previous job experience

* Dependable transportation to get to and from work

* Basic familiarity with office productivity software (Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Web Browser, etc.)

* Successful candidates are resourceful individuals who will always be looking for opportunities to make processes more efficient.

* Ability to cooperate with others to give and receive information both verbally and in writing / via email.

* Ability to apply knowledge and work independently as needed.
