Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00am-7:30pm

Summary:Performs the following duties and responsibilities when instructed by management, Warehouse Coordinator or Warehouse Associate II.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Picks, Scans and Packs reagent, consumable and part orders and Ships Domestic packages using vendor supplied shipping.
  • Complies with all Company and Departmental Standard Operating Procedures/work instructions and carries out instructions as written, this includes but is not limited to Order Processing and Shipping, Hot Weather Shipping and the Janitorial/Safety in Mount Olive SOP.
  • Performs initial inventory counts and assists in recount and final counts.
  • Performs all functions in the Receiving and Labeling process.
  • Ensures compliance with department and/or company SOP objectives pertaining to safety, quality, and productivity as defined by department management. Reports any violation of company SOP or policy to management.
  • Participates in the continuous improvement process.
  • Assist in Return Control.
  • Performs bluffing and housekeeping on all inventories items, all storage methods and locations as directed by the Warehouse Leads, Warehouse Supervisor or the Department Director.
  • Assists in unloading of incoming freight using the following equipment fork lift, pallet jack and reach truck when necessary.
  • Performs all other duties as directed by management, Warehouse Coordinator or Warehouse Associate II.
Education & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;
  • 6 to 12 months related experience or training preferred.
  • Should have knowledge of basic computer skills
  • Preferred certification for Reach, fork lift and pallet jack.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Up to 10% travel required
