** Warehouse Associate (General Labor)**

**Job Summary:**
The **Warehouse Associate** provides support to the sales and customer service team on purchases related to stone and pavers. While working in a fast-paced environment, with a team and/or alone, the ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability, initiative, flexibility and be safety and service-driven.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
Load customer vehicles with stone, pavers and other heavy bulk material
Perform manual labor duties including restocking/organizing product displays, minor landscaping and general maintenance of the assigned job site
Load and unload delivery trucks, trailers, and semis
Gain knowledge to operate a skid steer, forklift, and loader (optional: operator duties for selected candidates with experience)
Gain knowledge to operate company trucks with attached utility trailer and mini dump (driving duties for selected candidates with experience)
May assist with nursery related duties and/or perform other duties as requested
**Essential Qualifications:**
Minimum 1 year of experience working outdoors
Must have basic writing, reading and mathematical skills, a strong eye for detail and good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work the required shift hours/days, including Monday to Friday and rotating Saturdays
Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and a valid State issued driver's license
**Desired Qualifications:**
Bilingual skills in Spanish and English is a plus
Wholesale experience in a stone, garden center, nursery, or farming is a plus
Experience or education in the horticulture, agriculture or related field is a plus
**Physical Demands:**
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time or until the end of the assigned shift
Must be able to safely and properly lift and carry plants, pots, and other product
May be asked to lift 50 lbs. or more on a consistent and regular basis throughout the assigned shift with or without assistance
Must be able to bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder height, crouch, balance, and push/pull
Must be able to use both hands for repetitive actions such as grasping and manipulating
Specific vision abilities required include color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
**Work Environment:**
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to work with daily exposure to dust and dirt
