We are searching for a Warehouse Associate to support our continued growth. **Qualifications:**
Certified forklift operator **Required Education:**
High school diploma or equivalent experience. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
Pick, pack, and label orders
Stretch wrap pallets using machine or by hand
Load and unload trucks and containers safely, using an industrial powered truck, hand jack or by hand
Check and verify incoming product for accuracy against packing list
Ability to complete bill of ladings, placards, and transfer sheets
Cycle counting of inventory
Perform repack/rework assignments at an acceptable rate
Prepare sample orders and warranty replacements shipments as needed
Create shipping labels through various parcel carrier portals
Promote safe work environment through personal actions and report any safety concerns to supervisor
Clean work area of loose wood and plastic; sweep work area as needed
Other duties as assigned **Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to count, add, subtract and multiply
Ability to read numbers and labels
Safe operation of equipment
Ability to comprehend packing list, pick orders, transfer sheets, location change sheets and other paperwork
Ability to work independently
Basic computer skills **Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
1 year of work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. **Work Environment:**
The performance of this position requires exposure to the warehouse, which requires employees to wear close toed shoes.
The individual is exposed to a typical office environment with ambient room temperature, lighting, and traditional office equipment. **Physical Requirements:**
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Individuals may be required to reach above shoulder height, below waist or lift as required to file documents or to reach for product throughout the workday; lifting will include up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required.
