** Canning Line - Case Packer**

**Position Summary:**
* This position reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for assisting with operations of our case and carton packers
* Packaging product for our valued customers in a timely manner while meeting safety and quality food codes and procedures
**Essential Job Functions:**
* Packaging products according to standard operating procedures
* Operating the cartoner and case packer machines
* Position work on the canning lines
* Clearing the line of outfeed/accumulation of product
* Packaging preparation work
* Packaging finished product
* Organizing and stacking product
* Assisting with labeling and packaging product from the canning line
* Ensure product is of highest standards before and after packaging
* Assist with routine inspections on equipment to ensure quality
* Perform tasks with focus towards organization, sanitation, and safety
* Maintain clean work environment by assisting in general cleaning
* Additional duties as required
**Minimum Position Qualifications:**
* Detail orientated person required for this position
* Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
* Capable of lifting 40lbs. and capable of regularly moving 150lbs by pallet jack
* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
* Must always wear personal protective equipment
* Participates actively in facility safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions
* Ability to work a schedule of (5) full 8-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends as needed
