**Warehouse Associate - Driver**
Events and Inventory Roanoke, Virginia Minimum Experience **Experienced** Compensation **$15.50 - $16/hr** Star City Games is looking to add a Warehouse Associate - Driver to our team!
The Warehouse Associate - Driver assists with the movement of merchandise and internal supplies in the warehouse, as well as assisting with receiving of inbound shipments from distributors and regular mail. Additional time is used for verifying product counts in the warehouse and assisting with locating missing items. Operates Company vehicles for pickup and delivery.
Essential Duties:
* Work with the Assistant Manager - Warehouse to ensure all receiving and quality control duties are completed in a timely fashion.
* Load and unload material on and off skids, pallets, and shelves.
* Utilize the Spend Map Procurement Program to record received goods.
* Responsible for putting away newly received products and assist with restocking of the non-singles physical inventory.
* Perform audits on all products to account for items not found in inventory, and to ensure the products are taking up the proper amount of box space.
* Maintain Overstock of all products.
* Create overstock and main inventory tabs as needed.
* Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
* Assist with receiving and quality control processes as needed.
* Drive Company vehicle to deliver and/or pick up product.
* Load and/or unload Company vehicles as needed.
* Assist with the offsite storage, organization and requisitioning of needed items.
* Assist with weekly scheduled offsite warehouse movements.
* Assist with the order fulfillment process (order picking, verification, and packing) as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Attention to detail
* Must have a current valid drivers license with a clean driving record
* Able to work well individually and as part of a team
* Ability to be flexible and accomplish tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment
* Willing to learn and make good use of new programs
* Familiarity with programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Occasionally required to operate Company vehicles while conducting job duties
Work Environment, Physical and Mental Demands:
* Frequently must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds for short distances.
* Frequently required to operate electric or battery-powered tools.
* Frequently work in a warehouse environment with hazardous equipment, moving material handling equipment, obstacles, and high-volume activity.
* Occasionally must stoop, bend, kneel, reach, and maintain full dexterity while conducting job duties.
* Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
* Occasionally required to utilize finger and hand dexterity with repetitive motion tasks.
* Frequently operate a computer, utilizing a mouse and keyboard.
* Occasionally work in hot, cold, or wet weather.
* Required to utilize protective devices to avoid injury, including gloves, goggles, safety-toe footwear, and other protective coverings.
* Work environment often has airborne dust particles.
