**Technical Skills/ Training/Certification:**
* Ability to read company materials (recipes, charts, training materials, policies, etc.)
* Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly
* Ability to use basic math (i.e. addition, subtraction, basic fractions and percentages) in order to provide customers with correct change
* Successfully complete East Bay Deli training program
* Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
* Possess, maintain, and be able to show proof of valid automobile insurance at all times
* Possess a clean, smoke-free, reliable automobile
**Physical Requirements:**
* Employee is occasionally required to kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stoop, and reach to receive inventory, stock inventory, serve customers and clean store
* Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs., frequently lift and/or move 25lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
* Regularly required to stand and walk on a hard surface for up to 12 hours a day
* Quickly identify safety placards and hazardous situations to avoid or minimize injuries
* Identify food quality through taste, texture, color, and odor
