**REPORTS TO:** Logistics Manager
**LOCATION:** Carlsbad, CA
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**JOB SUMMARY:**
The Warehouse Associate will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**

* Put together kits (i.e., router, switch, and wireless access point devices) to be shipped
* Stage kits by region and store number to be shipped.
* Use scan technology to record serial numbers and MAC addresses of equipment to be shipped.
* Plug in equipment to ensure operability.
* Use scan technology to document pertinent carton level information, including condition, quantity, and warehouse location of material.
* Proactively monitor order management systems to ensure that all orders have been received properly and that detailed descriptions are provided for any Expiration/Out of stock/Damage issues.
* Process products accurately and efficiently.
* Execute ticket processes according to company compliance standards.
* Adhere to all security, control and safety procedures established by the organization.
* Review orders for accuracy.
* Identify quality control issues.
* Comply with warehouse regulations and standards in the daily movement of products.
* Ensure facility is in clean and organized condition (inside/outside the warehouse).
* Perform other tasks as assigned by management in other sections.
* Communicate job progress to Expedition Communications Logistic Manager, Project Managers Project Coordinators and Engineering teams.
* Performs other related duties as directed.
**REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:**
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
* Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
* Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Valid state motor vehicle operators license for forklift truck required.
* At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**
* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
* Ability to move around the warehouse.
