Senior Technical Project Manager:

The Sr. Technical Project Manager plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery, the complete end-to-end process. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, deployments, and the like. The successful candidate coordinates this work by defining project requirements and performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. They will develop detailed project plans and manage all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating, maintaining, and reporting for project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Creating reports or dashboards to track team and project related key metrics.
  • Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Communicate interdepartmentally to ensure client/company goals and needs are clear and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Be extremely organized and highly detail oriented to successfully juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met.
  • Determining project scope changes.
  • Providing administrative support as needed.
  • Undertaking project tasks as required.
  • Developing project strategies.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Provides Project Management support for multiple medium sized projects or at least one complex project requiring high levels of functional integration.
  • Supports all aspects of project execution, including: Requirements gathering, Chartering, Scope definition, project planning, Change control, Risk management, Close-out, Reporting.
  • Facilitates resource planning, cost estimation, budget development and cost control.
  • Ensures consistent application of all accepted project management's methodology, processes, tools, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with multiple project management software platforms with a demonstrated history of learning new systems quickly
  • High degree of Salesforce familiarity
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with change and quick deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platforms such as AWS and Azure as well as private cloud data center-hosted solutions
  • Experience working in an MSP.
  • Minimum of one project management related certification and one cloud-specific certification

Documents project meetings, including status reports on deliverables and next steps. Develops cost-benefit analyses, tracking and reviewing actual versus planned costs. Ensures project-related problems are surfaced, documented, and reported to appropriate project personnel and/or management.

Requirements Analysis. Knowledge and ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project. Engages with the customers, users, and other stakeholders to extract and gather requirements. Utilizes organizational methods, tools, and techniques for requirements analysis. Confirms deliverables, challenges, conflicts, and expectations associated with requirements analysis. Determines additional functional and informational requirements, prepares models and documentation.

System and Technology Integration. Knowledge of technology system features and facilities and the ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases, and platforms. Works with existing interfaces as well as integration and migration plans within own area and across aligned / associated areas. Explores major issues and considerations for successful system integration. Plays an active role in current and planned integration efforts. Works with applications, data, technology bridges and a variety of platforms.

Technology Savvy. Knowledge of technology and its ability to improve work processes and results (e.g., enhance productivity, efficiency, collaboration, quality, or customer satisfaction). Uses technology to solve work-related problems, find new methods to enhance results, and create new business opportunities. Pursues opportunities to develop knowledge and experiments with emerging technology solutions that can help accomplish work goals. Keeps others informed about technology innovations. Serves as a resource to help others understand and anticipate the impact of technology on current processes, products, and services.

USD 97,100.00 - 161,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
