Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:  

  • You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table. 
  • You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary. 
  • You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. 
  • You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions. 
  • You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. 
  • You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.  

What qualifications you will need: 

  • Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology. 
  • Must be Registered ARRT with RT(R)(CT) CT registration required (designated in PA08 at IMAGING007 - CT).  
  • BCLS required upon hire. 
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning. 
  • Availability to work weekend days, 6:00am-6:00pm
