Mission Assurance Manager

Position Description
CGI Federal is looking for a Mission Assurance Manager to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in the Huntsville area. The selected individuals will provide technical analysis of prototypes and emerging technologies, provide project management support, and assist in identifying best practices to meet client requirements for Army air defense programs.
Conducts logistics management operations and configuration control processes that involve planning, coordination, or evaluating infrastructure management, sustainment, and/or Support planning and execution. Applies knowledge of systems design and life cycle concepts, along with familiarity of specifications and understanding of maintenance requirements during acquisition and other stages of a system project. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of major issues, program goals, work operations, and managerial channels of organizations involved in Mission Assurance, as well as knowledge of support requirements, safety and security regulation, practices and procedures. Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates options concerning anomaly resolution. Develops and analyzes data to determine mission assurance objectives and goals. Participates in diverse study teams, originates new ideas, projects, and methodologies, and executes projects and/or studies within established financial and/or time constraints.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Coordinate with cross functional teams and/or organizations to address technical and/or programmatic issues
• Develop briefings and documentation as required by client
• Respond to client questions and requests for information
• Analyze technical solutions and provide feedback

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelors' Degree in Business Management or related field
• 8 years of relevant functional experience
• 1+ years of experience working in a project office
• Weapon system development and delivery
• 1+ year of experience coordinating with government agencies and contractors related to weapon system hardware development and associated issues and supporting risk assessment functions within an organization
• Active DoD Secret or higher security clearance

Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $61,000 to $120,100.
