1. Summary of Functions Performs various manual functions within a pick pack work environment.
2. Essential Functions Properly sorts, organizes, unwraps, and/or unpacks inventory according to company expectations. Properly picking, packing, and handling inventory while sorting damaged products. Properly handles cartons and palletizes products. Safely operates various equipment and tools. Maintains the cleanliness and order of work areas.
3. Quality Requirements Conducts oneself and operates electronic equipment and acts following all company policies, safety rules, regulations, laws, including wearing proper personal protective equipment. Demonstrates an understanding of quality policy. Adheres to the program and maintains a clean environment at all times. Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices and following safety practices. Demonstrates a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals and objectives. Demonstrates commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient, and accurate use of the process and electronic picking equipment. Communicates well with leadership and team members.
4. Physical Requirements Ability to work continuously in a fast pace environment and non-climate-controlled warehouse. Frequent: bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, walking, standing, climbing, pushing/pulling. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
5. Education and/or Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of experience in warehouse and/or pick pack operations preferred.
