Monocle Los Angeles is looking for a one-day-a-week sales member, with the potential for added days, for its Culver City shop.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered.
Delivering sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual and operational expectations.
Act as a brand ambassador for Monocle.
Ability to learn and share the expertise of products and trends to fit customers needs.
Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge and current or forthcoming products and trends.
Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Maintains shop supplies and manages ordering processes.
Ability to freely access all areas of the shop, including sales floor and stock areas, by standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing a ladder or step stool.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs at any given time; ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30lbs.
Required skills:
Minimum of one years experience in a high-level retail store.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
Motivated to achieve great results through an enthusiasm in interacting with customers and in Monocles products.
Ability to initiate and complete tasks or activities without necessary supervision.
Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision-making and financial analysis.
