Job description : KEY RESULT AREAS:
- This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and the plant environment. The successful candidate will only use safe methods and practices.
Required qualifications, skills and experience : PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of sanitation master schedule
- Clean and sanitize production line operating equipment (ovens, mixers, etc.)
- Clean and sanitize baking equipment including bins, trays, etc.
- Operate floor scrubber to clean concrete flooring
- Sweep and mop work areas
- Perform housekeeping duties including, restrooms, lunchroom, offices, conference room, etc.
- Discard all corrugated, inedible food and other packing material
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Knowledge of pest control
- Operate a trash compactor
- Read a weight scale
- Operate a baler
- Knowledge of production line operating equipment
- Knowledge of equipment assembly
- Knowledge of chemicals, chemical color coding system and chemical handling
- Knowledge of how to read MSDS
- Work weekends or overtime as assigned
- Commit to a continuous improvement work team environment.
- Other duties and/or projects assigned.
SCOPE DATA: - Area of impact – plant, plant grounds, and surrounding area as assigned
WORKING RELATIONSHIP: - Necessary to work as a team supporting and communicating cooperatively with team member within the department and with other members of the production line and maintenance.
- Position interfaces with all department leads and machine operators to determine extent of sanitation needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Be able to lift / push 50; more than 50lbs will require two people.
- Able to work on feet for the entire shift.
- Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, and climbing
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education: - High School Diploma or equivalent
