We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sr. Technical Sales Engineer to help us grow our service business in the North American Market. The Sr. Technical Sales Engineer for Long Products supports, develops, and delivers the sales process in accordance with the agreed business plans.Tasks and Day-to-Day in the role:Work with customers to maintain or develop sales of spare parts. Present all requisitions to contract administration to be developed and processed.Respond to and follow up sales inquiries by Email, telephone, and personal visitsMaintain up to date information on competitors slab caster technology in term of process/ equipment design/ maintenancePromoting Danieli technology, Danieli Service products and Service activities to ClientsPreparing technical and commercial proposals in accordance with Customer requirementsPreparing/ studying new technical solutionsMaintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support and liaisonSupporting foreign colleagues from other divisions during technical and commercial negotiations, quickly reporting to the HQ in ItalyMaintain, develop and update customer databaseMonitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information from marketplace, including competitor informationCarry out competitor and customer surveysLiaise and attend meetings with customers, world-wide to promote and explain the technical solutions and philosophiesAttend commercial negotiation meetings with customers world-wide, adhering to agreed company pricing policy rulesAdhere to local and external relevant health and safety laws and policiesPlan and manage the effective and necessary conversion of weights, sizes, values, and quality standards interpretations between various systems and territoriesManage language and communications translations issues and activities as necessary to enable effective communicationsMonitor of Service job execution and progress, with the capability to keep make decisions in case of fast reactions needed Work within usual/customary MS office software; i.e. Excel, Word, Project Management, Publisher, to perform assignments.
