Experienced (3-11+ yrs): $19.11 - $21.19, depending on experience.

This mobile diagnostics position will provide critical coverage to long term care patients on a designated route around Southern Arizona. We are looking for a patient focused phlebotomist who wants to provide great diagnostic care to some of the most at need patient population.

We provide a company car and ask that you are a dedicated, patient focused individual who genuinely cares about the well being of others.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of phlebotomy experience and is comfortable working independently and has a good driving record.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be located within the Mobile Diagnostics Services Department. This position is responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens into the department, their proper entry into the company’s computer system, the preparation of samples for analytical testing and/or the distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area. This includes responsibility for pre and post aspects of analytical testing. This position will also perform specified analytical testing as assigned. Follows the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum age requirement of 18.
  • Phlebotomy roles in Nevada and California require a phlebotomy certification.
  • Basic knowledge of department resource materials.
  • Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
  • Position may require DHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprint certification. 
  • Dependent on department/location, candidate must possess a valid state driver's license in the state of employment and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
  • Float positions require travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at mobile phlebotomy facilities/in-office phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements, weekends, holidays and overtime.  May be required to work occasional on-call duties weekends, evenings and early AM.
  • Progression through career ladder II-IV is subject to completion of career ladder requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
