What you will be doing

An exciting opportunity is waiting for you! Join World Courier as a Business Development Executive. In this function you will be responsible for developing the growth potential of our Healthcare/Pharma customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Research potential customers and qualified contacts on his/her own accord

  • Generate the first contact with potential customers and contacts;

  • Build up customer base, visiting customers as well as potentials for sales-conversations and presentations

  • Further the development of sales strategies for sales-area and perform market-analyses, keeping an eye on the competition

  • Accept queries from customers and write offers with the support of Operations / Customer Service

  • Represent the corporation at trade-fairs and conventions;

  • Stay up to date with the newest developments in the market and new products or services of World Courier as well as of the competition.

What your background should look like 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or comparable education / experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of Industry experience and knowledge or equivalent

  • Fluency in English and Turkish

  • Experience with Value Based Selling methodology

  • Working knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution

  • Ability to interpret industry trends

  • Natural Presentation and negotiation abilities

  • Ability to collaborate and interact effectively with colleagues nationally and internationally
