More can be found out about us at Richelieu.com as well as Richelieu YouTube.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Warehouse Associate will report to the Warehouse Manager and work with other members of the warehouse team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction. Duties may include keeping material organized and ready to ship, ensuring correct items and quantities are packaged in the most efficient manner, and selecting warehouse merchandise to replace items sold. He/she will represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and cost-effective manner that complies with all safety and other applicable regulations. Handle inventory as a warehouse helper, shipping and receiving helper, or traffic helperSort and organize merchandise so that it can be easily locatedKeep records of items received and damaged merchandise returnedTag and place inventory as it is received from vendorsMaintain quality control standards by checking items as they come inCheck product against orders for accuracyEnsure all orders leave the facility in a manner consistent with Richelieu Core ValuesSelect the most efficient and cost-effective packaging optionSafely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as requiredMaintain a safe driving record free of violationsMay perform occasional showroom counter dutiesMaintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as requiredFollow company policies and proceduresMaintain a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedHours of operation are Monday - Friday, day shift onlyPosition may require lifting/pushing/carrying items up to 50 pounds, working around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicalsWhat We Are Looking ForRelated experience in a similar positionExcellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent driving record free of violationsHigh School diploma preferredMust be able to operate a forkliftCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive market-based hourly rateGroup insurance program (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, etc.)Employee Stock Purchase Plan with employer matching401(K) with employer matchingPaid vacation and holidaysPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Occasionally required: lifting/pushing/carrying items up to or more than 50 pounds, working around fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicalsFrequently required: walking, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling or crawling, talking or hearing, utilization of visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard, working in high, precarious placesContinuously required: standing, utilization of hand and finger dexterity
