We constantly strive to reinvent and redefine technology and our quality stands unmatched within the test and measurement industry.Summary:The Sales Engineer II will collaborate closely with Account Executives to connect with potential clients, utilizing their engineering expertise to identify market opportunities and assist customers with complex technical applications. Their role involves identifying client needs and effectively communicating the technological capabilities and business value of our products. The successful candidate will excel in articulating complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to all potential clients, leveraging their engineering background to sell technical solutions effectively. Duties & Responsibilities:Respond to general inquiries and RFQs, evaluate technical requirements, prospect opportunities, and propose creative solutions that match customer demands.Send quotations, process POs, provide delivery updates, and manage various aspects of order processing and production operation.Lead in initiating RMAs, offering after-sales support, and relaying customer feedback to the quality, engineering, and management teams.Maintain and analyze detailed customer records in the CRM system, nurturing key customer relationships through strategic outreach and communication.Spearhead the qualification of new products, oversee the creation and maintenance of sales documentation, and identify critical product characteristics and features for future revenue growth.Conduct in-depth market research for new and existing products and technology, identify opportunities, conduct competitive analysis, and develop commercialization strategies.Represent the company in various marketing and sales activities, such as industry trade shows, conferences, sales site visits, and customer facility audits.Prepare technical presentations that explain complex products and technology to current and prospective customersLead in writing detailed development proposals, assist in contract negotiations, and manage various aspects of custom design projects.QualificationsQualifications:3-5 years of work experience in technical sales, mechanical engineering, or manufacturing engineering preferred.High-technical aptitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and well-established written and verbal communication skillsComprehensive understanding of quality management systems, manufacturing resource planning, and customer relationship managementEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics engineering, or related field Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience with Sensors, Load Cells, and complex technical salesDemonstrated leadership in technical sales environment.Work Environment:Much of this job is conducted in an office setting while utilizing standard office machinery. However, job requires frequent visits to the Production area where the employee may be frequently exposed to airborne particles, mild fumes and moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the office setting is considered low. The noise level in the Production area is considered moderate.Physical Demands:Requires regular, predictable, attendance and punctuality. Requires prolonged periods or sitting, occasional standing, stooping, bending and reaching and repetitive hand movements.There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to distances may be required. Must be mentally adaptable/flexible in dealing with a variety of people/situations. Must be able to analyze cause of interpersonal conflict and resolve complex issues in a positive and professional manner. Emotional stability and personal maturity are important attributes for this position.
