Physician - Family Practice - LOS Alamos, NM - Military veterans preferred

Seeking a dedicated Family Medicine physician to join our Los Alamos Primary Care team. The skilled physician will work in an outpatient family practice clinic located in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Christus St. Vincent is a mission-driven organization, focused on providing comprehensive care for the underserved communities of northern New Mexico.

The physician will follow established standards, procedures, practices and evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists, order diagnostic and therapeutic services, provide preventative care to long-term patients, perform physical exams and prescribe medications as needed.

Los Alamos, N. M. is best known as home to the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Los Alamos is situated on the Pajarito Plateau on the eastern flank of the Jemez Mountains. The community represents the most internationally diverse population in the State of New Mexico. The two communities in the county are Los Alamos and White Rock.

Practice Highlights:

• Monday-Friday eight hour day work schedule, or four days per week, ten hour days
• Family medicine provider call rotation, limited to telephone call only.
• Patient volume about 16+ patients per day

Education: Medical School graduate with a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from an approved medical school, or possession of Standard Certificates as issued by the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates. Active, unrestricted medical license in the state(s) of practice required.
