We bring the world together with our fries.Job Description SummaryResponsible for sanitation requirements of machinery, equipment, and facilities. Develops and maintains plant sanitation programs and procedures. Collaborates with engineers, suppliers, contractors and plant partners to ensure a clean and sterile facility. Assures compliance with regulatory agencies in regard to sanitation requirements and the use of cleaning and exterminating agents. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team-oriented work force in order to improve sanitation results.Job DescriptionPlan, organize, execute, train, and monitor plant sanitation crew, processes, and methodsInterpret, follow, implement and train employees on sanitation & corporate proceduresPlan and execute daily, weekly, and periodic plant wide cleaning and sanitation activity - coordinate with production and maintenanceDevelop and maintains the plant Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS), the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) per USDA regulations, the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP), and Environmental Swabbing ProgramWork with management for constant improvement of sanitation processesConduct periodic plant inspections and audits, tracking progress of corrective actionsResponsible for reporting any food safety issues to supervision.Works with pest control to manage and communicate gaps/deviations in programAbility to work off shifts and weekends if needed based on plant clean-up activitiesFollow required record keeping & training guidelines per audit standardsFacilitate tour prep & audit prep clean-up activities for the facility Basic & Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferredComplete understanding of Food Safety Guidelines/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe practices and proceduresComplete understanding of HACCP PlansUnderstanding of government regulations (FDA, USDA)Understanding of Clean In Place (CIP) and Clean Out Place (COP) systemsFamiliar with Fundamentals of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to read, write and speak fluent EnglishLarge organization/corporate experienceAbility to prioritize and manage tasksProficient computer skillsAbility to read measurementsMicrobial knowledge is recommendedMinimum of 3 years related experienceIndustry-Competitive BenefitsCoupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
