We are seeking a experienced Warehouse Material Handlersto join our distribution team in Bannockburn, ILThis role would work: Mon-Wed from 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM and Thurs - Fri from 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Non-peak season) Mon - Fri from 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM during busy season (Jan - early June and Aug - early Oct)Position:The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of finish good products and supplies and will also provide direction on the sequence and priority of task assignments to Material Handlers and Forklift Drivers. This position reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and will take direction on task assignments from a supervisor or others as requested.Responsibilities:Load and unload incoming and outgoing finished good products and suppliesUtilize radio frequency bar code scanners and other information technology to locate and systematically move products and suppliesCollect ordered items from the inventory and packing them for shipmentOperate material handling equipment safelyMeet or exceed productivity standardsEnsure all material movements are completed accurately and damage freeComply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelinesUtilize small parcel carrier systems to prepare shipmentsProcess customer product returns based on approved Return Material Authorization (RMA's)Coordinate the quality and on time completion of value-added services for key account customersExecute finished goods replenishment ordersPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:1-2 years' experience working in a distribution center environmentFluent in English language (verbal and written)Basic math skillsPrevious forklift experienceGeneral proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS preferredAbility to maintain regular and predictable attendanceAbility to lift up to 45 lbsCompany Culture:We are proud to offer eligible associates a full-range of benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, 401K, Profit Sharing, paid time off, holidays, and reimbursement toward gym membership fees.
