Shipping/Loader Warehouse Associate - Atlanta Distribution Center

Role Overview

A MacPherson's Shipping/Loader Associate is responsible for the following duties: sorting boxes, building and wrapping pallets, and helping with any other shipping functions.

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.The hourly rate range of pay is $15.00 - $15.55 an hour, plus 14 days paid vacation in the first year. This role is eligible for fork lift differential up to an additional $1.00 per hour for qualified applicants. A $500 sign-on bonus is available and will be paid out in two payments.The first $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the employee's first 30 days of employment.The second $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the 90th day of employment.

Requirements:

  • Continuously perform repetitive physical tasks involving frequent walking, reaching, bending, lifting, twisting, pushing/pulling, and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and sort 40-50 lbs boxes repetitively.
  • Self-motivating

Skills we are looking for:
  • Six months of experience in a distribution/warehouse environment.
  • Previous experience using an RF scanner or voice picking technology.
  • Equipment experience with lifts and walkies is helpful.
  • Good in basic math, and the ability to work well with others.
  • Computer proficient
  • To be punctual, team oriented, committed to safety, enthusiastic, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Ability to meet productivity, quality, safety, and attendance requirements. (including overtime as required)
