Warehouse Associate, Day Shift - Military veterans preferred

Overview:

Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a position open in Loma Linda, CA. The Warehouse Associates are responsible for selecting, locating the merchandise in the warehouse, warehouse cleanliness, loading and unloading, inbound/outbound, and performing other duties as assigned.

This is a Day Warehouse position, and the schedule is Monday through Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm or until finished.

Responsibilities:

You will:

• Move materials/inventory safely & efficiently within the warehouse
• Load and unload trailers & bobtail units in a precise and timely manner
• Review incoming material orders/"pick tickets"
• Locate materials on shelves in the warehouse
• Placing materials on order picker, forklift, or pallet jack
• Deliver items to the loading area to be wrapped and be put on a delivery truck
• Maintain assigned clean up area
• Maintain a clean and organized work space, which includes, but not limited to proper placement of merchandise
• Responsible for pre and post inspection of the forklift & equipment, reporting any problems to manager
• Maintain and enforce a safe work environment
• Adhere to all safety guidelines while operating a forklift or other equipment
• Maintain accurate paperwork for inventory control, including receiving paperwork
• Assist day shift with receiving and putaway and unloading of trucks as needed

Qualifications:

You have:

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
• 1 year minimum of warehouse experience
• 1 year of high volume order selecting
• 1-year minimum of electric pallet jack experience
• Forklift/Order Picker/Pallet Jack experience is a plus
• Ability to solely operate a cherry picker, going up 20+ feet.
• 1 year minimum of experience using RF Scanner
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Availability to work overtime

Salary: $17.50/Hour

Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm or until finished.
