The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, cleaning and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Position is located in Austin, TX - no relocation assistance available.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

For Receiving & Warehouse:

o Must use the Pinehurst computer program to identify the receipt of all materials coming into the company, assure that the quantities and quality of such materials are as ordered, and disburse materials to either storage locations or to other organizational functions requiring them (i.e. Refurb, Shipping, or Finished Goods).

o Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods (using computer), rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.

o Ability to properly identify all golf clubs manufactured by Callaway Golf

o Ability to identify any defects, dents, shaft burns, and non-factory reshafts, and counterfeits

o Record tracking #s of every package touched

o General knowledge of the how CGI purchase order system operates

o Ability to properly sticker and locate problem clubs to the right location.

o Must be available to work overtime, including weekends.

o Perform basic fundamental functions of warehousing.

o Consistently receive 140 to 160 pieces a day or reach a minimum of 1200 points in the point system.

o Demonstrate proficiency to cycle count, receive, organize, and store material.

o Responsible for some of the preliminary investigation used in researching inventory variances.

o Perform basic fundamental functions of warehousing.

o Responsible for some of the preliminary groundwork on researching inventory variances

For Shipping and Warehouse:

o Must use the Pinehurst computer program to identify the receipt of finished goods (totes/re-works) into the company, assure that the quantity and quality (damage) of such materials are as ordered, and disburse materials to storage or to other organizational functions requiring them.

o Lifts heavy items (up to 60 pounds) and is required to be multi lift truck certified.

o Average 150 carts packed a day.

o Picks and packs merchandise to be shipped, using customer routing guides when specified.

o Posts weights and shipping charges (using computer) and prepares goods for final shipment.

o Stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.

o Must be available to work overtime, including weekends.

o Perform basic fundamental functions of warehousing.

o Responsible for some of the preliminary groundwork on researching inventory variances.

For Cleaning and Warehouse:

o Ability to properly identify all golf clubs manufactured by Callaway Golf

o Ability to identify any defects, dents, shaft burns, and non-factory reshafts, and counterfeits

o Consistently clean and remove stickers on 400 to 500 pieces a day

o General knowledge of all cleaning supplies and inventories

o General flow of inventory in and out of cleaning.

For Refurb Irons

o Ability to remove and regrip all clubs at a rate of 30 to 40 an hour

o General knowledge of what grips go with each specific club

o Ability to do medallion replacements

o Ability to do shaft band replacements

For Refurb Paint

o Proficient at tape masking all heads and shafts

o Proficient in tape removal

o Ability to sand blast heads to achieve the desired profile at an established pace of 20 to 25 an hour

o Ability to apply all fill paints to club head at an established pace of 20 to 25 per hour

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Ability to use a computer keyboard.

Requires basic reading, writing, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and computer skills in English.

Demonstrate proficiency to receive, organize, and store material.

Must have an understanding of the picking procedures and be able to pick deliveries with 100% accuracy.

Must have an understanding of general packaging procedures with the ability to package at 100% accuracy.

Should also be able to load UPS package truck, use the box-making machine, clean all areas of shipping and receiving floor, and put miss-picked clubs away.

Ability to print description labels (DYMO, FEDEX) for receipts and shipments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school graduate or GED preferred.

Experience in a Warehouse environment preferred.

Experience with Warehouse managed operation systems preferred.
