The Sales Engineer North America will be responsible for the technical strategy for the region, including the support of new product launches, facilitation and vetting of product feature requests, account and field level training, technical support and assisting with the establishment of local USA operations.

This is a newly created role based out of Sycamore, IL which will be critical to the growth of Enatel Motive Power sales and support operations with key customer Crown Equipment Corporation in the North American market.

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Extend Enatel product quality management into the field with collaborative customer relationships e.g., Crown
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management and engineering to create customized solutions that meet customers needs
  • Manage Customer Value Analysis /Value Engineering opportunities and feedback to Enatel product management
  • Participate in product development and feature application testing and validation in collaboration with customer and internal teams
  • Manage the assessment, repair & reporting on any product returns (chargers and modules)
  • Assist with in-region compliance requirements
  • Understanding customers product user interface requirements
  • Execute customer product training program in North America
  • Provide Motive Power Field Support to Crown service technicians


Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified engineer in either electronic, electrical or equivalent experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Capabilities in multiple disciplines such as, but not limited to, the below are preferred:
    • Electromechanical capability
    • Working knowledge of communications technologies, wi-fi, IoT, Bluetooth, ethernet
    • Comprehension of device circuity and functionality
    • Systems thinking and logic
  • Fault diagnostics and reasoning
  • Technical report writing
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills
  • Self-motivated and directed with excellent priority setting competency
  • Ability to function well in self-directed environment
  • Ability and desire to interact effectively with a variety of personnel at all organisational levels
  • Responsive and customer focused
  • Ambitious, inquisitive, persistent and team oriented
