**Job Description**

Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager Resource Coordination, this position is primarily responsible for assisting with the flow of work throughout the warehouse. This position will work with the Field Operations, Sensory and Customer Care teams to ensure smooth functioning of all warehouse activities and product handling while they are on site. The specific accountabilities assigned to this position are numerous and varied but three areas are of particular focus:

Organizing incoming and outgoing shipments including receiving, verifying, proper storage, and record keeping of shipments & equipment. Preparing items for shipment. Duties include assembling, temping, coding, addressing, stamping, and shipping product, equipment or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, temping, coding and recording incoming product, equipment or material.

Ensuring safety and emergency readiness programs are carried out properly when working.

Maintain equipment throughout the facility; interact with outside vendors when on site to keep items in working condition (breakage and preventative maintenance).

**Detailed Responsibilities:**

The following is a list of job responsibilities; this list is not exhaustive. Additional tasks may be assigned as business needs dictate.

**Inventory**

Take direction from Senior Facilities Manager to complete activities such as shipping and receiving, inventory management, records control, and product procurement.

Confers and corresponds with Operations Department to rectify problems, such as product temperature issues, damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.

Prepares documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.

Participate in the rotation of all ovens and microwaves based on reports from inventory system

Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, occurring during scheduled shift.

Examines contents and compares with records, such as inventories, pick sheets, manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments. Physical restocking of warehouse and test supplies

Records shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, temperatures, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, inventory, and recordkeeping purposes.

**Warehouse**

Packs, seals, labels, and affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, UPS computer, and postage meter.

Assist with running of errands, procurement pickups, and deliveries as needed Contribute towards smooth day to day functioning of all warehouse activities.

Maintain and track the secure disposal process of test products and materials as requested.

Completion and recording of test product retention, returns to clients and secure disposals.

Perform and maintain records of regular calibration testing of test equipment: daily monitoring, recording and maintaining logs of refrigeration and freezer temperatures

**Safety**

Assist with providing information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions within the warehouse.

Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment.

Inspects warehouse facilities to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards, implementation of corrective or preventative measures where indicated.

**Facility**

Participates in supporting overall facility maintenance as needed.

Assist with oversight and directing of maintenance workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance.

Assist with seasonal outdoor maintenance of facilities/grounds and pest control management.

Other

Keeps up-to-date on technology, safety and health standards.

Takes a hands-on approach to any necessary duties to ensure the job is completed. Assist with special projects or support, onsite test support, and/or other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**

**Education & Experience:**

High school degree, diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution; one to two years of related experience and/or training. Safe Serve certified preferred. Ability to work in an warehouse environment coordinating a variety of required project tasks. Prior food handling experience and office related computer skills strongly preferred.

**Mathematical Skills**

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions and basic Algebra to practical situations.

**Computer Skills**

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of the full range of business software; Internet software; Inventory software; Project Management software; Database software, Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, and be comfortable learning new programs.
