**Sales Assistant**

Sales Assistant will support Account Executive to drive sales and nurture a mutually profitable business relationship with assigned accounts. Responsible for creating strong relationships with Buyers and Assistant Buyers in order to work independently to support the individual needs of every account.

* Gather, enter and distribute weekly, monthly and seasonal sales figures. Input data for business analysis, i.e. performance tracker

* Partner with AE to analyze business by door to maximize sales opportunities (weekly, monthly, seasonally, and annually)

* Work with merchandise planning team to review monthly markdowns for key accounts and identify overlap and opportunities

* Assist in preparation for all management meetings and market appointments

* Prepare market materials for showroom appointments. Assist with showroom maintenance prior to and during line opening

* Assist in post market order compilation, submission, and reconciliation

* Maintain order changes, substitutions, confirmations, and shipping status/order tracking for accounts

* Ad Hoc projects including not limited to marketing, product knowledge, charge backs and billing inquiries

**Requirements**

* 1-2 years of sales/ merchandising experience

* Strong working command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

* Understanding of retail math

* Team player

* Self-motivated

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Ability to meet deadlines and follow up

* Strong desire to learn and grow
